Title: Negative Effect and Shuffle.
Post by: Lamborghini_diablo on September 03, 2008, 05:43:20 PM
Would a card like Passover protect my heroes from ANB?

Set aside one of more of your Heroes.  Hero(s) is immune to negative effect while set-aside.  Discard Passover when Hero(s) returns to play.

Though, I looked in the REG to double check myself... and I found this:

A negative effect is any effect from cards not of the same alignment (i.e., good, evil, or neutral) targeting a character.

Since that is the definition of negative effect, Passover would not protect your heroes from ANB.

Hey,

If you want to keep your heroes from being shuffled by A New Beginning try Protection of Angels (warriors version).  I'm pretty sure that's the only card that keeps heroes from being shuffled.

Hey,

Its the same wording as Josiah's Covenant.

Josiah's Covenant says "harm or negative effect."  Protection of angels says "harm or effect."

Yeah, now you know why Warriors cards have retained their value so well.   ;)
