Scenario:
(There is a Peter's Curse on Fishing Boat)

I RA with John(H)

My opponent blocks with Philistine Armor Bearer

His initiative he plays Bringing Fear

I play Sons of Thunder, target Peter's curse.

Does the curse get discarded?

False. Peter's Curse can only target a Fortress in play. But let's say you're asking about The Garden Tomb:

Yes. Sons of Thunder cannot be prevented. So Bringing Fear does not stop it.
