Title: Negate vs negate and discard
Post by: burlow on December 11, 2016, 08:02:32 AM
Hi, can someone clarify the difference? Some enhancements say, negate the last enhancement, some negate and discard.

thanks

Precisely as it says, negate and discard means it's not only negating something but also discarding it. The negate the last enhancement only negates the last enhancement played by your opponent so you lose the options of what you can negate. Does that answer your question?

The main difference is that if the card is not discarded then the numbers still affect initiative. "Negate" only targets special abilities, not numbers.
