If I search for an ad to battle Leviathan with Nebuchadnezzar does this ability activate? I ask because his ability would trigger when an animal enters battle but his ability is only active after it enters battle. And can Leviathan even activate his own ability? Since his ability will blink when he enters battle his ability wouldn't be active when he enters battle to be triggered? Or because it's cannot be negated does it still stick around while his ability blinks so it triggers when he enters battle

Triggered abilities can be activated if the triggering event deactivates the ability (the blink when Melchizedek/etc. enters battle) or if the triggering event activates the ability (putting Moab in play triggers himself). So Leviathan triggers himself.

But his ability, which triggers when a ec enters battle, isn't activate when the EC enters battle, so how can it trigger?

Because Sites that use "if you play this Site" and Lost Souls that use "if put in territory" need to be triggered by the action that activates the ability, so all actions that activate abilities can trigger those abilities, if applicable.
Or, since Leviathan uses "blocks", not "enters battle", and we updated "block" such that it is a specific point after the first character enters battle (so a banding chain triggers Throne once), you could argue that Leviathan blocks after the ability activates.
