Title: Name-On-Name and X/X
Post by: Red Warrior on August 16, 2010, 04:25:41 PM
Once X/X is determined (i.e. 3/3) can those numbers be doubled by name on name bonus (i.e. 6/6) upon the appropriate character?

The Rabshakeh's Threats X/X (X = Assyrians in play)
SA: N/A

Bonus question: these types of enhancements are dynamic, correct? (That is, if at any point during battle the amount of Assyrians in play is increased or decreased, the numerical value is altered accordingly)

I would say yes to both.

Yes. An X/X enhancement would become 2X/2X on the appropriate NoN character.

Bonus: There was a big discussion on this awhile ago, and I think it was ruled that X in an ongoing ability or numbers (X/X) are dynamic.

In the case of a completed ability, one could not "go back" or "edit" their selections, correct?

Example, I play Pride before Calamity on my demon in battle, selecting 2 heroes (X = My Redeemed Souls, we'll say 2) to discard. I would not then be able to select 2 more if my opponent played SoG/NJ right?

Pride Before Calamity
Discard up to X Heroes in play. • Identifiers: OT, X = the number of opponent’s Redeemed Souls.
