I have Swift Horses on Nebuchadnezzar. I know that Nebby activates first, so I use him to play Dream. Does Dream then complete before I use Swift Horses? Also, does that mean whatever I play with Dream (or with Nebby on other turns) can't be negated by default since Swift Horses and another enhancement activate after it?
Swift Horses

Nebuchadnezzar

Cannot be negated. • Attributes: Babylonian King, Fought Earthly Battle • Identifiers: OT Male Human, King (Babylonia), Royalty, Fought Earthly Battle • Verse: Daniel 4:30 • Availability: Thesaurus ex Preteritus booster packs ()

It could not be negated by a "Negate last," but it could be Negated by a "negate one," assuming the Hero is still in battle. If whatever you play causes the Hero to be removed, an Interrupt the Battle played after your second enhancement would also Interrupt it.
-
You would be able to play two enhancements, but I'm pretty sure both of them are negateable unless another ability (or their own) makes them CBN. I believe that if you, say, play Coliseum Lions with Neb's ability and then play Great Image, your opponent wouldn't be able to play a negate last, but I think an interrupt would work...but what do I know? :P
Edit: intraposted by the guy I was talking to on Hamachi. Irony.

This actually came up in my game yesterday. Nebby does get to play TWO enhancements before the other player can do anything, correct?
Also, I could add in another character instead right, like start a crimson banding chain, and then play Midianite attack (I think that's the one that negates all abilities except banding). Nebby's special ability is CBN.
Thanks.

Yes. Or he can add a crimson EC with his ability and then play an enhancement using Swift Horses.

Yep. So Nebby can add Leviathan to battle then play Midianite Attack. Which is pretty tough to beat except by AoCP.

Actually, after thinking about it, I don't think I could play Midianite attack after all IMMEDIATELY after adding the EC to the battle, because Midianite attack would negate the Swift Horses ability, right? I'd have to wait until I have initiative I guess. Did I miss something?

The ability to play an enhancement cannot be interrupted. So once Swift Horses allows you to play Midianite Attack, it is played, and can't be unplayed. Mid Attack does negate the draw 2 ability of Swift Horses though.
-
What makes the ability to play the enhancement "cannot be interrupted"? If you are referring to Neb's ability, I had used that to add an EC to the battle. If Swift Horses' playing an enhancement also cannot be interrupted, I've never heard of this before. Thanks.

it seems people are staying clear of this question and with due respect...

Bubbleboy is correct. So apparently he knows something.

The ability to play an enhancement cannot be interrupted as a rule, to avoid strange loops, or some pretty insane recursion. I think it started when an ET came out and played AoCP, then the opponent blocked with KoT from hand. It was ruled that the attacker couldn't "unplay" AoCP and pick it up to play it again.
From the REG:
The ability to play an enhancement cannot be interrupted.

It's a moot point that Neb's ability is CBN for your example, since Mid Attack doesn't negate Banding anyway.
-
Sorry to be confusing. I meant that I only had initative to play Midianite Attach after the band because of Swift Horses, and I thought Midianite Attack would negate everything on Swift Horses, which it clearly doesn't. Thanks.
