Title: Moses and negates

If Moses enters battle (special ability of Moses negate all character cards and enhancements) while blocking with an evil character can you play a card from hand to to negate Moses?

 If you had initiative you could, however, it would need to be at least CBP or CBN, otherwise Moses would negate it.

Why does it have to be CBP or CBN? Doesn't a negate interrupt and prevent Moses' ability and then prevents it from ever happening?

Moses being in play first would negate that ability before the enhancement could negate Moses.
