Title: Miraculous Handkershiefs
Post by: Xonathan on February 24, 2016, 12:51:20 PM
Does the TEC miraculous handkerchiefs protect souls from cards like creeping deceiver, Uzzah, and Philetus? Or is more like card like death of the unrighteous?

Yes, it would protect them from Uzzah, Creeper and Philetus. Essentially it is protecting them from being targeted by the protection of those ECs.

It's an underrated card, in my opinion.  But the Thorns LS protects against the most powerful evil LS targeters, and doesn't take up an art slot.  Plus, evil characters are really really easy to prevent.  So there are other ways to deal with the evil cards that MH protects against.

EDIT:  Also, don't forget that it protects your own LS as well.  That right there is probably the biggest reason it isn't more widely used.

It's a fairly situational card...obviously if your opponent sees it active, they won't be blocking with those kind of blocks, but as soon as you turn it down, they'll use them right away. I've seen it used more often in T2 since there's greater potential for facing multiple copies of a "chump block" card whereas in T1, you might face one all game.
