Title: Michael Question
Post by: Alpho on May 02, 2010, 09:43:15 AM
Okay so I am really excited that I just got Michael but I realized that the versions that are different word the special ability differently. What I am saying is do the Warriors Michael and the Kings Michael have the SAME special ability? Warriors says cannot be INTERRUPTED, PREVENTED, NEGATED, or REDIRECTED. The Kings Michael only says cannot be negated. So does that mean that the Kings Michael can be interrupted, redirected or even prevented? Hopefully not..............

Thanks for you help

Alpho

Both have the same special ability.  The kings Michael, in saying enhancements played by Michael can't be negated, says any enhancements Michael plays can't be interrupted after being played, prevented before being played, or redirected.

Regarding "redirecting," an enhancement would have to be interrupted before it can be redirected, and Michael cannot be interrupted (which is part of negate).

To clarify further, "cannot be negated" means the same as "cannot be interrupted, prevented, or negated".  Negate is pretty much the same as Interrupt + Prevent.

or redirected.

Unless they were to make a preemptive redirect...

IS there a card that can do a preemptive redirect?

Nope, All redirects have to come after an interrupt.

Nope, All redirects currently in existence have to come after an interrupt.
Fixed.
