What happens when the messenger of Satan bands to Goliath?

Messenger of Satan
You may draw X from the bottom of your deck. May band to a human evil character. Cannot be prevented.

Goliath
Return all heroes in battle to territory (except giant slayers). Opponent may present a new hero. Negate all band, draw, and play abilities. Cannot be negated.

Goliath negates the draw and band on MoS so he leaves battle and it's Messenger by himself to block whatever Hero is presented.
