So... I attack with a green prophet with Hidden Treasures, and play sword against sword. My Nergalsharezer with horses fights naaman with horses.
Who draws two and plays first, naaman or nergalsharezer?
-
You/Nergal.
-
Any reason why? And what if both characters were theirs?
-
Gave you the short answer first.
Since you played SotL, you choose the two ECs to fight. They don't enter battle at the same time. First to enter battle is the EC you choose to control. So, Nergal enters, draws two and plays an enhancement. Then Naaman enters (if he hasn't been nuked, captured, etc.), draws two and plays an enhancement.
-
Why is the first one to enter battle the one you choose? Couldn't he theoretically choose any order?
-
couldn't he choose to control the other persons evil character anyways...

Tim is correct. You can choose the order of which EC enters battle first.
In your example, though, it would be complete lunacy to allow your opponent to have Naaman enter battle first. ;)
Read the REG because the situation is different if the characters come from the original battle.

Okay... So I could let naaman enter battle, play whatever he wants, then have my pale green guy enter battle with 2k horses and play wonders forgotten and end the battle and interrupt anything naaman did? That's pretty legit... :D
-
Only if Naaman played NT enhancements. ;)
-
Haha, right. :D
