Matthew (Di) has the ability to recur "a good enhancement with a Matthew reference on it and place it beneath deck." So he can do so with the original Authority of Christ with its Mt. 8:27 reference. The question is what about the AOC Promo (which has no such reference?) I guess the bigger question is do promo cards that are unmarked by any verse retain their older version reference? (i.e. Harvest Time- Warriors vs. promo)
-
I believe Matthew cannot recur AoCP
-
Band Matthew to Thomas and AOC is CBN anyway 8) (don't have an answer to your question, guessing no)
-
No, he cannot return AoCP. Based on that ruling, then promos without verses on them do not retain their original verse references.
-
It was ruled that Matthew cannot recur Authority of Christ. The thread is here. This is due to AOCP not having a reference.

Correction: Authority of Christ can be recurred as it has a reference. The Promo cannot.

So since it does not have a reference then could it be considered a testament-less enhancement.
I.E. Could Spirit as a dove search for it?
-
For consistency purposes, I would say no.
-
I know that the characters without references are considered to have their appropriate testaments, but not sure about enhancements. I would tentatively say yes, but not 100%.

As far as I know, AoCP is a NT Card, it's just not from a specific book.

This is how it has been traditionally ruled, it was mentioned in the original thread where this was discussed. Let me see if I can find it.
