Should be listed as Greek.

why?... he was a isrelite right?
Nope.

Was Luke a greek or was he a roman. I believe he was a roman. Also going along these lines Saul/Paul should be considered a Roman. Saul was his jewish name and Paul was his roman name so he was a roman citizen. He may already be listed that way but if not its not a hard argument to show that he was roman.

Saul/Paul is listed in the REG as a Roman. Here are the other Roman heroes: Aquila, Centurion, Cornelius, Lydia, Priscilla

Luke was born in Antioch; most scholars think that he was Greek.
What of Timothy also: is he Greek, Jewish, or both?

According to Acts 16:1 Timothy is both.

I'd agree. I is an interesting point though.

In further study, there is a part of Luke in which the grammar used is rather elementrary, suggesting that it was originally written by someone who wrote in Aremaic. Now, we know that Paul contributed with Luke to both Luke and Acts; however, it would be assumed that Paul would have exellent Greek. This suggests that Luke (or whoever wrote this section) would have been Hebrew, or that they at least spoke Aremaic primarily.
The majority of evidence, however, points to Luke being Greek.
