Title: Lions + 2016 Lost Soul

If I were to block with Lions, and the opponent has the 2016 Lost Soul out, then would the soul prevent the opponent from revealing a dominant, thus forcing Lions to discard a human?

Lions: Evil Character, Discard a human. If it is a Hero, its owner may reveal a good Dominant from hand instead.
2016 Lost Soul: While you have drawn 4 or fewer cards this turn, protect your hand and deck from opponents' cards.

Correct. Like Entrapping Pharisees, there are reasons not to protect your hand all the time.
