Title: Lampstand and Mayhem
Post by: Minister Polarius on September 08, 2009, 03:22:22 PM
Playing Mayhem with Lampstand active makes all players draw six without shuffling, right?

*EDIT* Or does it stop it altogether since the draw pile is protected also?

No, no players shuffle or draw with lampstand active.

Hey,

Mayhem is a cost/benefit ability ("...to draw six cards") so the draw is contingent on the returning of the previous cards in hand.  And Lampstand protects cards in the draw pile from being targeted by the draw ability on Mayhem.  So Lampstand stops Mayhem in two different ways. :)
