Does sword of the spirit or every man's sword on King Saul mean he can band to anyone?

no because he does not gain multi brigades while holding a multi color weapon

Can he play enhancements of any brigade?

no sword of the spirit and every man's sword are multi brigade so they can be played on any brigade character, but the character holding the weapon doesn't gain every brigade to play enhancements of any brigade
