Title: Just Clarifying Unique Character Deck/Play Rules
Post by: BubbleBoy on August 28, 2009, 03:00:10 PM: So what's the rule for having unique characters in your deck? I heard it was going to be a sort of common sense thing from now on, but I never found out the official word. Can you have both King Asas in your deck, or King Ahaz's, or all three Davids? And can you have both the good and the evil Sauls in your deck, and can you have them both in play at the same time?

If you're looking for a common sense sort of rule, how about this, "you cannot have both the original and the reprint of a character in the same deck." That isn't perfect, but for the most part that's what the duplicates rule is designed to do.
