Here's another situation. I have a 4/4 hero in territory. It is my opponents turn. He has a chemoshed EC set aside and the turn before Plagued with diseases still up. Are all my heroes still decreased? Because with other artifacts it says when active, meaning you can keep it active but every turn during upkeep I think when artifacts are activated the ability goes off. You can not have a Holy Grail up, not use it, then use it whenever after the artifact phase. So why is this different? Also if he chemoshes my 4/4 man, which is now 4/2 does the activated Plagued with Diseases kill him? Now if it does and the ability is on going, like HoH and stuff, (which I think it is) then can he chemosh me to 4/2 I die becuase of the 0/2 decrease from the artifact, then can my opponent activate a new artifact? If he does do I get my 4/2 dude back? Or did he die, the artifact get negated, I come back reset 4/4?

When does the decrease from plague with diseases target? Is it during each phase? Is it stll targeting during my upkeep phase before my prep phase?

so in the above example:
can i chemosh a 4/4 with PwD active discarding the hero during my prep phase the activate another artifact during prep?

im srry- i meant to say during my upkeep kill a hero with 4 defence due to PwD and a chemosh counter then activate a new art during prep

it seems as stated by rob quoting from the REG:
that all ongoing abilities continue until the end of the phase that they are discarded,removed, (and in this case deactivated) as long as it isn't negated.
if this is the case then Mr. Hiatus's 4/4 hero is still decreased by my PwD during my upkeep phase when i decide to put a 0/-2 chemosh counter on that hero. Moving on now to my prep phase i have not activated an artifact yet this turn i should now be allowed to do so if my understanding is correct...yes?
