Title: Judah Vs Thorns

Joseph is captured and in the same land of bondage as the thorns lost soul.  Judah enters battle and tries to exchange for Joseph.  Would it be correct to rule that Judah is restricted from exchanging to Joseph and remains in battle?

You may exchange Judah with a captured hero, or with Joseph or Benjamin from your discard pile.

Thorns LS
While this card is in play, protect each lost soul in play from being shuffled, placed under draw pile or exchanged.

Correct. Judah attempts to exchange with a captured character who is protected by the "Thorns" Lost Soul.
