This is already updated in the REG (unless I'm looking in the wrong spot)

All the RoA cards are now bunched together so I don't think this is an issue anymore...?

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

As I state above, "it" is only referring to pointless debates over who said what and who agrees with who. "It" is not referring to anything else.

Therein lies the problem. I completely misunderstood the "it," because of careless reading. I thought you guys were referring to the time it was taking to get the REG updated. I thought Schaef was saying that the delay was an "unfortunate necessity," which I read as a sympathetic hand to those who were frustrated. I then saw your response as undermining him. However, neither of you were even talking about what I was thinking. Oops!

And here I was wondering why Hobbit was so upset about my "casual disregard" comment (which I couldn't figure out why was such a horrible insult), but he must have thought I was defending the pointless debating. FTR, I wasn't. I'm just an idiot who can't read.

Well, the good news is, that qualifies you eminently for pointless debate, so feel free to dive right in.

You'll have to fill me in on what we are debating again. It's no fun being Devil's Advocate when I don't have a clue what's going on.

Candy doesn't have to have a point.  That's why it's candy.

But it certainly can. A candy cane after several licks will often be needle sharp. And dangerous.

You'll have to fill me in on what we are debating again. It's no fun being Devil's Advocate when I don't have a clue what's going on.

I'm pretty sure we were debating about what it is that qualifies as pointless debate. Carry on.
