Title: Jacobs Ladder and Female only

My opponent attacks with (insert any male hero here) and I have Jacobs ladder up, I have 2 lost souls up the Female only and any generic lost soul. Can I pick for him to go for the female only LS?

Jacob's Ladder (http://redemption.wikia.com/wiki/Jacob%E2%80%99s_Ladder_(Pa)) only applies to the Holder.  Only the person using it can choose the soul on their own rescues.

And in Carr you're wondering, if your opponent had Jacob's Ladder active he still wouldn't be able to rescue the female only with a male.

To further Redoubter' s explanation, you always get to choose the LS they rescue as long as you have access. Jacob's Ladder allows you to choose which IS you rescue as long as you have access.
