Title: J.T. Question
Post by: 3-Liner And Bags Of Chips on July 02, 2010, 12:01:08 PM
I heard from my friend that next season that JT will become a protect instead of a prevent. Is this true?

I haven't heard anything about this. Doesn't really matter IMO, Deck Discard isn't very powerful, certainly not strong enough to warrant JT.... Although stopping HT might be nice.

Also, until the change is made, J.T. prevents any card that could POTENTIALLY target your deck. So in multi, all copies of Confusion are prevented, even if it was going to be used against another player. This is the reason the change is going to be made I believe.

Yay!  This is the first I've heard of this.  This will make my anti-draw deck slightly better.

I only wish it doesn't stop drawing, or else, Many cards would not work.

Wow, then this card should be reprint it and make it ultra rare, because it is so good.

Not really. Only because they changed the ability to a protect instead of a prevent...I don't see where it stops forced drawing...it hasn't in the past because it's not discarding those cards...But I know that more people will see that this card goes into their decks. I, for one might do that...maybe...

I have already put them in my deck, and I agree, there are no other ability talking about stop drawing, plus drawing is not taking cards out of your deck, it is draw, at least is not remove from your deck. Like I said before, remove is when you discard something from your deck, where you cannot use that card.

Hm, seems to me like JT would stop forced drawing. I mean, putting a card from opponent's deck in his hand is certainly removing the card from the deck. That would almost be too bad, though, because IMO Abom and Luke heroes are underused as is.

However it would be epic if your opponent had JT and you attacked with The Generous Widow and had to discard 2 cards but couldn't draw two
