Title: Is Saul/Paul a prophet?
Post by: joeycauldron on November 23, 2010, 05:49:25 PM
Is Saul/Paul a prophet? They ruled Saint Patrick as a prophet because he had a dream from God that came true. The same is with Paul. He had a vision from God that came true. I would like to hear the ruling in this case.

I've used HidTreas + S/P (much to my opponents' dismay) many times. Quite effective, especially the whole CBN enhancements thing....

Playing it pre-block would render a lot of enhancements CBN.

CBN pre-block ignore is quite awesome, especially for the game-winning rescue. :D

Saul always converts to Paul, and always in his default multi-colored state.

To clarify what Schaef is saying, any convert card makes Saul turn into multi-colored Paul, even if the enhancement says "Convert to a green brigade hero." Paul would not only be a green brigade hero, but also blue, white, red, teal, purple, gold, and woo-hoo silver!

He's a lone Hero at the beginning of the battle challenge...

I'd like to say the battle doesn't begin until abilities complete, but that doesn't exactly make sense in t2 or that new site ruling.

At any case there is going to be no way gathering would work, otherwise something like Haggai would work.

i think it has to do with order of abilities. ill try to look it up. ugh

After thinking about it I'm almost 100% sure it doesn't work.

However, it doesn't specify the brigade of enhancement.  Preblock AocP anyone?

Benedictus in territory and then Preblock AoCp would work better. Seems everyone uses NT only defenses with CP now-a-days.

If you count lone Heroes before banding, then EVERY battle begins with a lone Hero and Hidden Treasures' condition is meaningless.

I think it's pretty obvious the difference between having one Hero in battle and having multiples requires you to actually account for any banding first.
