1. My opponent attacks with Claudia banded to Parmenas. I block with EC holding 2khorses and play Forgotten History. Does the interrupt from 2khorses kick Parmenas out of battle before I end the battle?
2. I attack with Claudia banded to ET. My opponent plays Tenants Kill the Son targeting ET and giving me initiative with my Claudia.
a.) Can I interrupt the battle with Reach of Desperation?
b.) They have UnholyWrit up and capture my Claudia after they play Tenants, can i play Reach?
Tenants Kill the Son (Di)
Type: Evil Enh. • Brigade: Black/Gray • Ability: 3 / 3 • Class: None • Special Ability: If used by a Pharisee or Sadducee, discard a Hero to draw a card. Cannot be prevented. • Identifiers: None • Verse: Matthew 21:38-39 • Availability: Disciples booster packs ()

INE But i would say....
1) yes
2)
a) yes
b) I dont Know? :-\
-
anybody else?
-
ITB won't interrupt a band unless it was the last enhancement played, so Parmenas won't get kicked out of battle.
I think the answer is yes to both parts of 2.
-
You couldn't do anything about UW since it is out of play so there is no way to interrupt that. But if Tenant discards you and you are losing by removal, then you can do an interrupt.
-
sounds like im getting mixed answers here...does anybody know the answer?
-
i'm too tired to really follow the second one, but i believe for #1 the answer is no
you are interrupting the battle, not an enhancement. as far as i'm aware, 2K Horses is kind of like sliding your hand into a book being slammed shut so you can get your bookmark in. I could be wrong though.

If 2a) is yes, then 2b) is yes. If you can play a purple interrupt because you're losing the battle due to ET's removal, it doesn't matter if Claudia remains in battle or not.
If you didn't have initiative to play Reach in 2a) (say Maharai to Claudia to ET), then your opponent could use UW and CM (if they had it) to get rid of the 2 remaining characters in battle without giving you initiative.
For 1, from the REG:
‘Interrupt the battle’ interrupts all active ongoing abilities on characters and enhancements, abilities that are causing you to lose the battle by removal, as well as the last enhancement played in the current battle if it was played by your opponent.
Claudia's band is none of those, so 2KH doesn't interrupt it.

ok so i was playing gabe and i attacked with a band. he plays Tenants on one guy and battle is a stalemate, my initiative...he writs my other guy. Do I have inish to play interrupt?
-
I would say no.
-
I think you do, as long as it can be played on the character discarded by Tenants.

I would say no, because interrupt is supposed to interrupt the last enhancement your opponent played, abilities causing removal or your EC from battle and all ongoing abilities. Banding is not ongoing.
2. I attack with Claudia banded to ET. My opponent plays Tenants Kill the Son targeting ET and giving me initiative with my Claudia.

I am not sure about a, but i'm pretty sure you can interrupt Tenants in b. The reason i'm not sure about a is because I had it ruled that when I fetched Sarah's Jealousy with Nebby and chose the attacker, it was ruled that an interrupt of the color of the original hero was allowed to be played to interrupt the choose the blocker ability. Seems like an almost identical situation here.

i'm pretty sure you can interrupt a band
You can, but not with an interrupt the battle card if the band was a character ability (as is the case here).
So:
1) No.
2) a) Yes.
b) Yes, if Claudia would have initiative vs. the EC after ET was discarded, no otherwise.

+1 w/ Prof A.

GABE! NOOOOOOO!
