Title: Interrupt Question

Opponent makes a rescue attempt, I block and play Words of Discouragement. I choose to play the next enhancement and I play Achan's Sin. Since Achan's Sin Interrupts the battle, does my opponent get the cards that Words of Discouragement placed on his draw pile back?


Words of Discouragement (AW)

Type: Evil Enh. • Brigade: Pale Green • Ability: 3 / 3 • Class: None • Special Ability: Opponent must return 3 cards from hand to top of draw pile. Holder may play the next enhancement. • Play As: Place 3 cards from opponent's hand on top of deck. You may play an enhancement. • Identifiers: None • Verse: Deuteronomy 1:28 • Availability: Angel Wars booster packs (Rare)


Achan's Sin (Pa)

Type: Evil Enh. • Brigade: Pale Green • Ability: 1 / 1 • Class: None • Special Ability: Interrupt the battle and remove all cards in battle from the game. • Identifiers: None • Verse: Joshua 7:25 • Availability: Patriarchs booster packs (Rare)

No - ITB only interrupts the last enhancement played if it was played by your opponent (unless it's ongoing).

Aggie is correct. ITB does not interrupt your own previously activated instant abilities (such as itb/draw/play).

Is this in the REG/rulebook? not to question your ruling, but I would like to know if it's official  :)

In the REG, under Instant Abilities > Interrupt > Special Conditions:

Quote

The phrase “interrupt the battle includes interrupting the following:

all active ongoing abilities

abilities that are defeating one of the characters you control in battle

the last enhancement played in current battle if it was played by your opponent.
