Joseph rescuing. Prince of this world blocks. Obedience if Noah is played. What happens to PotW if not chosen to blick?

Nothing happens regardless of who Joe wants to pick.  Prince is immune.

To elaborate, choose the blocker is a combination of two abilities. One withdraws the blocker, the other brings a new EC into battle. If PotW is immune to the withdraw, you can't bring a different EC into battle
