Title: Implied search?

Lingering in Sodom....1st part of the special ability says..."You may play a city from deck."

So is that an implied search? Would Hezzys signet ring (no searching deck) stop that?

I think we've moved away from calling it "implied search", but any ability that targets a card in a non-specific (top/bottom) location of a pile (deck, discard, Reserve, etc.) includes a search of that pile. So HSR would stop it.

I wish to nitpick and point out that Signet Ring specifically protects Deck and Discard, and so doesn't care if you go into your Reserve.
