I think I know the answer to this but wanted to post just in case. If my hero is ignoring the evil character (during battle), can I use a toss ability to decrease the evil character? I'm think the answer is no but was thinking it would be a really cool strategy if you could use ignore and toss together on offense.
From REG "A toss effect allows a player to play an Enhancement in a different way than usual; instead of activating the
numbers or abilities of the Enhancement, the Enhancement is discarded to decrease an opposing character,
regardless of protect or immune effects"
-
Toss only bypasses protect abilities, not ignore abilities.
-
I'm not saying you're wrong but if I toss an enhancement because of Coliseum or LoC Goshen, is the ignore really even stopping the toss?
-
If I'm ignoring your characters, no matter what enhs you play or toss on those characters it won't harm me, since I'm ignoring you.
-
And with the new change to ignore you are also protecting your opponent from you. Toss is regardless of protection. So how does this work?
-
Ignore acts like a dual-protect, but is not actually a protect. And toss is not "regardless of ignore", so toss does not work through ignore.

Would the bolded text mean that toss does NOT work through ignore?

Yes. My fingers got ahead of me. I'll go back and edit so the last sentence is correct.
