Post by: Korunks on June 07, 2009, 04:54:01 PM
How Does Idle Gossip work exactly?  After the two heroe's get done fighting, does the winner resume the Rescue Attempt?  What happens if some one chooses a Moses as one of the hero's?  What if some one RA's with a set of banded heroes, I play Idle Gossip, choose Moses, Do the banded hero's disband?  After the side battle do the unbanded hero's return?

After any side battle, the participants return to wherever they came from (or owner's territory if the hero came from hand).

Moses negates the side battle and all other special abilities in the original battle. The battle would become "fight by the numbers" with the original hero and evil character. However, any abilities that "cannot be negated" remain in effect.

Yes. The only exception would be banding that "cannot be negated."

No. The whole battle is now "fight by the numbers."

Did somebody wake up on the wrong side of the bed? Notice that I said "any" side battle, and that the exception was in parentheses as a side note.  :kenobi:

But this thread was referring to that card in particular. [This is where I would post a Darth Maul face, but...Obi-wan killed him, didn't he? Well, I guess angry will do.] >:(

Clarifying general rules often helps decipher the more specific examples.  :maul:

Obi-wan negates your maul, so I win the argument. ;)

I didn't realize that we were arguing. I was just cleaning up the bite wounds.  ;)
