Faith of Joseph: Protect discard pile from Opponents.

Hezzy Ring: No Opponent may search discard pile.

How do these two cards interact, if I have FoJ and my opponent controls HezzyRing?

HSR restricts your opponent from taking specific actions. It doesn't target the deck or discard pile. Therefore, those two cards don't really interact when on opposite sides of the table.
