Title: Healing Enhancements?
Post by: Captain Kirk on March 29, 2013, 02:54:10 PM
Is there a comprehensive list of Healing Enhancements? I can't seem to find one in the REG. There is a reference under "Disease" that seems to indicate there should be a "Healing Enhancements" section but I can't find one.

Quote from: author REG
All healing cards implicitly target disease cards. See Healing Enhancements for more information. The following Redemption® cards explicitly refer to diseases:

Would any enhancement with the word "heal" in the special ability/play as/errata make the healing a healing enhancement?

A quick look at the spreadsheet of card abilities/play as/errata on TLG yielded the following enhancements that I believe may all be considered healing enhancements.

A Roman Soldier's Faith
Angel Food
Backward Shadow
Balm of Gilead
Brass Serpent
Bread of Life
Buckler (PriestS)
Coat of Mail (k)
Elisha's Bones
Healing
Healing of Naaman
Helmet of Brass (k)
I am Healing
I am Sustainer
Leaves for Healing
Miracle of Healing
Ointment
Purifying the Unclean
Royal Protection
Satan's Folly
The Body of Christ
The New Covenant
Torment
Wolves in Sheep's Clothing

There are two I am not sure about, however, as they involve setting aside a hero and then a healing ability is available.
Ordained as a Disciple
Peter's Shadow

Thoughts?

For as long as I've been playing, any card that has "heal" in the SA/Play As/Errata is a healing card, I believe that should still be the case. I would rule that Ordained and Peter's Shadow are in fact healing enhancements, but the cost (set aside) must be paid first.
