Title: Hard-Hearted conversion

If Hard-Hearted Pharaoh is converted,  would his discard 2 still trigger off of an Exodus EC like Egyptian Horsemen?

Ability:
Discard the top card of opponent's deck (or top 2 if you control another Exodus Egyptian, put lost souls in play instead). May band to an O.T. Egyptian. Cannot be prevented.
