Is "unless" generally dynamic, similarly to "if"?

I would think unless on instant abilities would of course be static but on ongoing abilities a lot of them wouldn't make sense if it was not dynamic.

I think they would both be static generally but it would depend on context. I know foreign wives was dynamic for awhile but her ability is now static.

That makes sense Kevin I agree

Thinking along the lines of Balaam's Disobedience - so if you band in an Angel is the ec still immune to human kind of thing

For Balaams at least I think its pretty easy to say its dynamic. If it said "EC becomes immune to human Heros unless an angel is in battle" then I would see debate on the subject but since it says "EC is immune unless an angel is in battle" that means the same thing to me as "EC is immune to humans Heros while an angel is not in battle", which would be dynamic.

That is how I've always understood it as well.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Does the unless on RoJ red dragon apply the ignore dynamically or only when red dragon's ability initially activates? Seems like a one time check

Does "Michael, the Archangel" count for "unless Michael is in play"? I know we all know it's the same character but just wondering if there is some semantic jiggery here

RD should be dynamic for the same reason as Balaam's.

Named characters are always the same. (Joshua is the same as Joshua, Son of Nun). There is a list of such unique characters with different names in the REG.

I believe the list The Guardian mentioned can be found in the glossary under "Duplicate Cards".
Have you visited the Land of Redemption today?
