Title: Generic Cards
Post by: Crashfach2002 on February 24, 2009, 09:14:10 PM
I know that cards like King Hezikiah who is in two different colors but has the same picture, but they can't both be in a deck since he is an unique character and has the same picture.  So my question is can you have two of one character that have the same picture, but different brigades if they are generic?  My examples are Fallen Angel (Crimson/Orange), Evil Angel (Gold/Orange), Evil Spawn (Gold/Orange).  I also wonder if you can carry the two Red Dragons, Beast of the Sea, and Beast of the Earth.  I know those three are probably unique characters but they have different pictures, I have always been a little confused on this ruling.  Thanks for the clarification!

Since they all have abilities and have the same name/artwork, you can only have one.

Also, the tree beasts you mentioned at the end are actually specific things (at least they should be if they aren't).

I believe the current ruling is the following...

Same Name + Same Picture = Same Card
Same Name + Same Brigade = Same Card
Same Name + Same Brigade + Different Picture + GENERIC = Different card

Though I may be wrong.

I know for a fact you can have both red dragons in your deck, but only one may be in play at a time.

Same goes for the red and green davids.
I believe the current ruling is the following...

Same Name + Same Picture = Same Card
Same Name + Same Brigade = Same Card
Same Name + Same Brigade + Different Picture + GENERIC = Different card

Though I may be wrong.

That sounds right.
