Yes he can get any card that has a silver Bible icon on it even if it has another icon and any rainbow Bible icon cards because they're all the colors.

This is for everyone else that doesn't know what the card does. There are a few ability Nazis out there :-)

In the interest of teaching to fish, every time a card can be targeted as one of its (active)* aspects, it is a valid target. A green/white/red card can be targeted by a card that targets green, white, or red. First Seal, Conquer can be targeted in deck as either a Silver enhancement or a Crimson and/or Grey Warrior-class symbolic Evil Character.

*Not all aspects of a card are active at all times. For example, while the bowls are two good enhancement brigades and one evil enhancement brigade in hand, deck and discard pile, once it is played it becomes only the alignment it was played as until it resets by leaving play.

If I get a good/evil enhancement with Gabriel do I have to play it as good or I can use it as either?  (I'm super rusty sorry)

If the search ability doesn't tell you to do something additional with the card, then the card stays in your hand, at which point you can play it any legal way you want.

An example of when the card you search for must be played a certain way is searching for Joab (CoW) in discard via Eternal Covenant.  Because EC says to search for a hero AND put it in play, you must play Joab as a hero instead of an EC when you put him in play.

I would think that if Gabriel says "search for a silver enhancement" - then you would have to use the card as a silver enhancement (not an evil character)!

This is the way I was taught to play when I search for/bring out covenants - i.e. if the search says "Search deck for an artifact, and you grab a covenant, then it has to come into play as an artifact, and you are locked into that. If you search for an enhancement, and grab a covenant, then you you have to use it as an enhancement - because you have "tagged" it as that.

Am I missing something?

Thanks

when a card hits hand/deck/discard they reset and can be played as any type of card they can be played as

Like jmhartz said, it only happens that way when you have to put the card into play following your search. If the card remains in your hand, then it can be used however you like at that point.

Another example would be searching out Fifth Seal/Justice Seekers with I am Creator. Once you target them as a Hero in deck, you have to put them in play as a Hero because that is the directive of I am Creator. If you used The Great White Throne, you could target Fifth Seal/Justice Seekers as a Hero (for the search) but then it stays in your hand and you could then choose to use it as an enhancement.
