Post by: Jeremystair on January 30, 2017, 12:17:09 PM
Can my opponent play Falling Away on the lost souls card if I have guardian of your soul and play?

No and if they play falling away (womens) while you have up guardian of your souls and they have a lost soul with no guardian up of their own..

They have to fall away their own lost soul! It's pretty funny..

If there's the lost souls card in play and he lets me win one can he use burial the other one to discard the lost souls card?

If you are referring to the Lost Souls card that requires to be rescued twice, then that is a legal play.  Other examples of how to use this card:

Let your opponent rescue it twice, then Falling Away it, so now they still have to rescue it once, but lose 2 from their redeemed souls count.

To be even more mean, do the above then use Burial it so they can't rescue it again.

A really mean thing to do, it use the site named "Hormah" which allows you to under deck it plus any lost soul(s) in it when your human evil character is discarded.  So you can give them "half" then put it in Hormah, then use a card that kills your own evil character (like Uzzah, (brown) Achan's sin), then win the battle and the Lost Souls is placed underneath the deck, then when it comes back out on the table you have to rescue it twice again.  Death of Unrighteousness does this too!

1) Let me get this straight. Burial kills a lost soul and if you use it on the lost souls card it kills both of them even if your opponent has won one one of them?

2) if my opponent lets me win one of the Lost Souls on the Lost Souls card (This card counts as two lost souls it must be rescue twice by the same player to count) and I have guardian of your souls in play can he play Falling Away on one of the lost souls of the Lost Souls card he let me win?

1 yes.
2 i"m not entirely sure, but i think that it has to be in land of redemption for it to be fallen away. i could be wrong though. the liner is already in your lob, so that is why i'm not sure. the liner says it must be rescued twice to count, implying that it isn't technically rescued until both have been rescued and the card is physically in your land of redemption.

Falling Away says (select any redeemed lost soul and return card to your land of bondage character is treated as lost soul subtract the rescue from appropriate players current score.)

So to clarify your question #2.  You do not get any credit for the "Lost Souls" until they are both in your Land of Redemption.  At that point, if you already have played Guardian of Your Souls, then I can not use Falling Away on you, and you always have both there.  But if you have only rescued 1 half, then I can still use burial, or shuffle, or place it in my deck (via Hormah) regardless of if you have Guardian, because it only protects lost soul(s) in your Land of Redemption.
