I just wanted to check how this would interact with side battles. I'm assuming that because in a side battle you are not "rescuing or blocking" that FoM would not work?
FoM curse: While you are rescuing or blocking, restrict players from playing dominants.
-
That is correct, FoM does not apply to side battles.
-
glad the rehoboam combo will still work then! ;D
-
Would Three Woes negate FoM’s curse ability or would the opponent not be able to lay it on the table in the first place?

This is my concern with these cards. I'm not sure how effective the while blocking or rescuing will be. I guess restricting all doms anytime is too much?

If my opponent is forced to use Woes prior to me rescuing or blocking (and thus not being able to play it in battle), I'd say that's a win. 8)

Controlling who can play Doms and when they can play them is way to powerful.
I notice a trend where people see a powerful card and say "...but Woes!", meaning that it will be negated. The thing is that Woes can only negate one card at a time. If I have 3 cards that are prime Woes targets, two of them will work.

I get that but if you have 3 prime woes targets on one curse it's three birds with one stone to destruction or Passover hymn etc
That's why Glory of the Lord is so amazing

Wouldn't that be three birds with two stones? ;)

I didn't say anything about them all being on one Curse. That's something different entirely if you want to the risk/reward. Most of the time they will be independent cards. FoM (Curse), Babel (Fort), [Edited by R.O.S.E.S] (soul), etc.
