Just wanted to check to be sure I'm understanding Equip rules correctly:
You may equip the weapon to a warrior class character in territory.
The weapon is played in battle.
Can the weapon be equipped to another character in battle after battle still?
Can the equipped weapon be discarded by choice as an enhancement after battle still?
Thank you

I found the answers to my questions by searching for weapon in reg 5.0
Yes it can be equipped to another character
Yes it can be discarded
Also lead to the thought that I believe you can steal your opponents weapons by banding to their wc character and then equipping their weapon to your character. Hadn't thought of that before..

Based on our change to weapons announced in this thread (http://www.cactusforums.com/rules-announcements/2018-rule-and-errata-changes-(pre-fom)/), the answer to both questions will be "no" going forward.

Oh okay so confirmation this
"A weapon held by a warrior continues to be held by that warrior at all times, even during battle."
Continues through battle resolution
-
Yes.

If the warrior who held a weapon going into battle and is banded to another character, and the warrior is removed from battle somehow, does the weapon get removed with him or can it remain in battle with the other character so long as the other character’s brigade matches the weapon? I would assume it is removed with him like how placed enhancements are treated.

My understanding of the new rules is that weapons follow their warrior everywhere now (Except jail) and that, like placed enhancements, you can't leave the weapon behind on another character.

going by what was released as the new rule, the weapon stays on the character at all times and doesn't become unequipped in battle to move between characters. My question would be what happens when the character is captured? I'm assuming the weapon is still discarded?

Yep. Can't take your weapons to jail.
