Title: enhancements in battle

if i have two different brigade characters in battle and i play enhanments on each and one is discarded -are all the enhancements also discarded immediantly or do they hand around until the end of the phase?

They are discarded when the character is discarded.  They no longer remain if no characters in battle can hold them.

what if i bring in an EC with unknown nation after the first one died
 are the enhancment already discarded before the next evil character is placed?

Yes. If you've already discarded your EC, then the enhancements cannot just hover in the field of battle waiting for a new EC to be presented via UN.
