Title: Early church kindness questions.
Post by: redemption collector 777 on October 22, 2015, 03:02:09 PM
Kindness (early church) :Place on your clay or gold Hero: During your upkeep, choose an evil brigade and each player must draw 1. Hero is immune to the chosen brigade this turn.

Abom part of SA: Each time opponent draws cards (except during draw phase), you may discard a card in that territory except a Lost Soul.

Example: In a 2 player type 2 game ,  player A has 2 heroes in their territory with 2 Kindness cards placed on them and Player B has abom in their territory.

1. When both Kindness cards draw abilities activate on Player A's upkeep  , can you discard 2 cards in Player B's territory with abom or 1?

2. With two kindness cards activated can you choose to be immune to two seperate brigades? Example orange for the first kindness and brown for the second kindness?

Asking these questions because both kindness cards would activate at the same time.

1. Since it is two draw abilities being used, that translates into two discards by Abomb.

2. Each copy of kindness would get to choose a brigade whether they be the same or different, but kindness only makes the hero it is placed on immune to that brigade. So having two separate brigades chosen wouldn't help all that much because even if you had both heroes in battle, they are each vulnerable to the brigade the other is immune to and thus the evil brigades are still effective. The only way it would help is if your opponent only had evil characters of both brigades.

Except you can have both copies on the same character making it immune to 2 brigades.  Unless I'm missing something?

True, but he specified that the kindness cards were split between the two heroes.

Example: In a 2 player type 2 game ,  player A has 2 heroes in their territory with 2 Kindness cards placed on them and Player B has abom in their territory.
