1.) If I make a Rescue Attempt and am winning. It is fine for my opponent to play Grapes of Wrath on his own EC to shuffle my heroes into deck and stop me from making another rescue attempt?
2.) If I make a rescue attempt and my opponent defends w/ abijah, son of samuel (each time opponent plays an enhancement in battle draw a card) and it's his iniative, and he plays Christian Suing Another to make Emperor Tiberius (who had been converted to a teal hero) and my rescuing hero fight. Does he A.) Get to look at my hand and under deck a dominant if he took control of Emperor Tiberius and does he get to draw a card for enhancements I play during that battle? Additionally, if my hero lives (and he didn't get to draw does he now and do my enhancements #'s stay on my character?
3.) I know the answer to this but this is to benefit him. Can Emp. Nero discard a Fortress? (I know it can't but I want a moderator to confirm this for him.) Fortress does not = site.
4.) If a CBN Artifact is active and I discard it, the ability remains until the next players turn correct? Questioning Covenent w/ Death and me using Passover Hymn.

1. Grapes only shffles heroes in battle, and you can only try a rescue attempt if you have less redeemed souls than someone else.
If all your heroes that you could try a rescue attempt with were in battle when he played grapes, than yes, you could not make another rescue attempt.
3. No. (though I am not an elder, the REG states that fortressses are no longer considered sites)
4. Only until the next phase (battle phase, preperationi phase, discard phase ...)

So since I had the most lost souls, even though he used grapes, i was the rescuing hero and could not make another rescue attempt?

Correct.
2. Yes, and yes. If for some reason He was protected from drawing during the side battle, unless the original ability was negated, he would still be able to draw.

1. Agree, this is a valid play (and a common way to block).
2. Partially correct.
Agree, Emperor Tiberius as a hero can still underdeck a dominant. It is an ability that converts with him since it does not harm a hero.Special abilities on Heroes (and good weapons)* that have been converted to Evil Characters and evil weapons* can never activate. Special abilities on Evil Characters (and evil weapons)* that have been converted to Heroes may activate, except for special abilities that specifically target Heroes.
Agree, enhancements remain with the character and return to the main battle from the side battle. When a side battle ends, surviving characters that came from another battle return to their previous battle and retain any enhancements played on them in the side battle.
HOWEVER, you do NOT get to draw off of cards played in the side battle. Abijah, son of Samuel (http://redemption.wikia.com/wiki/Abijah%2C_son_of_Samuel_(Pi)) only gets to draw off of cards played "in battle." That only applies to the CURRENT battle, NOT to any side battles:Battle
The phrase ‘in battle’ or ‘current battle’ refers to any cards in the current battle that can be either the primary battle (rescue attempt or battle challenge) or it can refer to a side battle, NOT BOTH.
See also Battle Phase.
The phrase ‘Field of Battle’ refers to any cards in the Field of Battle including primary battle and side battles.
3. Agree, sites are sites, fortresses are fortresses. Different card type, he may only discard a site.
4. Agree, though note that in your example you could only have played Hymn in battle. Still, ALL ongoing abilities remain active until end of current phase unless they have a 'turn off' condition ("While this card is in play...") or you negate them. Since neither can apply with CwD, it always lasts until end of phase.
