Just wondering is there a difference between the 2 liner LS and the 3 liner LS cards in the way they are played?
2 liner lost soul SA:
This card counts as two Lost Souls . It must be rescued twice.
3 liner Lost Soul SA:
This card counts as two Lost Souls . It must be rescued twice by the same player to count.
If so which one would be more useful??

The difference is whether two players can "split" the souls (2-liner) or not (3-liner).
If so which one would be more useful??
In TEAMS the three liner is almost always more useful.
Other than that, which is is more useful is very situational.

Which one would more useful in a type 1 2 player game then?

I'd say probably the two-liner because just in case your opponent rescues half and exchanges for it for some of reason you can still rescue the other half of you really need to. Besides that very unlikely situation, there's really not a whole lot of different. It used to master a little more back when you could rescue your own souls with SoG.

In a multiplayer game, my bro forced a tie for the win by playing Burial on one of two lost souls in a territory. The other one was the Lost Souls two liner that my brother had rescued once. The attacking opponent had no way to stop this, and since both he and my brother had 4 redeemed souls, they tied that game.
