If I play Desecrate the Temple on my Babylonian in battle, and my opponent only has a facedown artifact in play and no forts/doms/activated arts, do I get to search their deck for a card to discard? Or do I discard the facedown art?
Desecrate the Temple - If used by a Babylonian, discard an Artifact, Temple, or good Dominant in opponent's territory. If there are none, discard one from opponent's deck instead.

The artifact has to be face up. If they have no legal targets in his territory, then you get to search their deck to discard an artifact, temple or good dominant.

I agree. It is like in a way destruction of Nehustan. It may only be for a face up artifact.

The above posters are correct. Face down artifacts are out of play, and can only be targeted by cards that specify face down artifacts or artifact piles. A card that simply targets an Artifact does not suffice for this purpose.

i've always wondered what is so ignorant about a guy peeking around a door.

I think it's that he doesn't seem to realize his head is purple. If my head were purple, I wouldn't be focused on anything/anyone else.
