Title: Death Of Family
Post by: Ironisaac on April 27, 2018, 11:57:45 AM
I just want to make sure I am understanding this correctly. If I rescue with a male hero, and my opponent blocks with an evil character with higher numbers and my hero dies by the numbers, I can't use DoF to add a female to battle, right? Because he would be discarded in the battle resolution, you can't add someone new to battle, right?

If I begin a side battle between two evil characters while I have a male in the main battle, and I discard that male while still in the side battle, can I discard DoF to add a female hero to the side battle?

(Idk why you would want to do this, but it would be funny if you could)

I believe battle refers to current battle so that should work.

If you discard your male judge using Samson's sacrifice or "Avenged!", can you use death of family to add a female to battle?

Samson's Sacrifice: If used by a judge, do a thing to discard all cards in battle...
Avenged!: Discard your judges human hero to discard all evil characters in battle.

DoF doesn't say discarded by opponent so I don't see why not.

Characters cannot be added to a side of a battle that does not match their alignment.

Didn't catch that it was an EC side battle :o If the side battle was between two Heroes would it work?

Unless I'm missing something I believe it would.
