Title: Couple of questions
Post by: Maynid on August 30, 2011, 09:34:05 AM
When starting a battle challenge, I believe my hero's SA activates regardless of whether the challenge is accepted, correct?

I can use a set-aside enhancement (such as Sleep) to set aside my hero/EC from battle, thus preventing it from being damaged, correct?

Correct on both counts. On the second one, you have to play the set aside enhancement when you have initiative, like any other enhancement.

Correct on both counts. On the second one, you have to play the set aside enhancement when you have initiative, like any other enhancement.

You can also play the set-aside enhancement during your Prep or Discard phase, so after the battle challenge you can set your hero aside.

And to clarify the set-aside idea, if you are already being targeted for discard, removal, capture, conversion, etc., you would have to interrupt or negate it first before being able to set yourself aside.
