I seem to remember that Demons are discarded if they are ever being converted to a Hero because Demons cannot be Heroes. Is this correct?
Also, here is a related curiosity question: As alignment-sensitive identifiers vanish if a Character with that identifier is converted to a different alignment, does an Angel become a Demon if it is converted to an Evil Character, or does it just become a non-Human non-Demon Evil Character like Doubt? My inclination is towards the latter.
-
Demon's aren't discarded if they are converted, they just simply can't be converted (convert abilities don't do anything to them).
If an Angel is converted it does not become a demon.
-
So convert abilities, by game rule, simply cannot target demons?

Correct.

Is there a card that allows targeting of a non-human evil character? I thought they all specified human...

The new Blinding Light from Early Church just says "N.T. Evil Character" and I think there are a few other but I'm not sure of any off the top of my head.

I'm fairly certain they actually do count as a demon, as Angel is a hero-only identifier.

Agree with Redoubter, Angels become demons when converted to evil alignment (which, then, restricts them from being converted so they can't be converted back, lol).
-
Well, what do you know? So they actually do become demons.

Oh, now I get it, I'm pretty dumb sometimes. :P
-
Sorry. This is just another example of Old-Timers nostalgia. Back when I had a specially tuned crimson anti-angel deck to combat one of The Guardians' decks built upon the rock that was Witness(es) to Creation...
-
Hope that deck had a few Leviathans. Would have got around witness to creation and three nails.
-
Leviathans are pretty lame to me...
-
I know it isn't the point of the graphic, but it does make a rather pretty flower. ::)
-
Leviathans are pretty lame to me...
Lame, except you cannot target them as humans OR as demons OR as beasts. There are fewer things that can kill them.

I'll admit, the end of that gif was EXTREMELY satisfying...

Then are they animals?

Yes, one of two. The other is the Serpent.
