What day is CoW officially legal for tournament play? I know Rob said here (http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/redemption-card-play/2016-cloud-of-witnesses-set/msg553849/#msg553849) that they'd be legal 2 weeks after release and with the planned release this week, just looking for a more concrete date.

I heard from Rob this morning. He said Cloud of Witnesses is legal for open deck categories (T1, T2, Teams) on June 3rd.
Host's may begin using Cloud of Witnesses immediately for all closed deck categories (booster and sealed).

So we can use CoW in sealed?!?!?!?!

So we can use CoW in sealed?!?!?!?!
Currently boxes are not allowed in Sealed (I don't think that's changed?).
-
I actually knew that, but I figured I would point that out so that no one else gets the wrong idea!

Some play groups have been using boxes in sealed for years. The Tournament Host guide hasn't been updated since before card boxes were released.
2 card boxes = 30 cards
3 booster packs = 30 cards

This would have a HUGE impact on sealed. Early Church would be crazy in sealed. Auto is strong in open play, but just flat stupid in sealed. I'm all about my kids getting newer cards easier, but the pure power of these new cards is unstoppable in the sealed decks. (Auto is far from the only problem, just one of the most obvious).

It certainly makes sealed deck more interesting. I've seen a kid pull Armor Bearer and Twelve Fingers to go with his I deck. He still didn't win though. :P

Well I can speak from experience. I've had some "unofficial" sealed decks with Early Church, and I had one of my players get Ehud's Dagger, Deborah's Directive, Auto & Awasn with the Judges deck. Needless to say a CBN battle winner, CBN negate (and battle winner against Tiberius) and the speed and CBN creating Angels was way too difficult to overcome. Due to this I created a ban-list for my unofficial sealed, but if people like it that way I personally want to play that way.
