Hi altogether,
short question: What happens if a converted character is in battle and gets DCed either by SA or by loosing due to numbers?
Does that character get converted back to its initial state and face values or does it stay converted and just enters city?
Thanks for clarification!

City of Refuge (http://landofredemption.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/041-City-of-Refuge.png)
Once per turn, if an opponent's ability harms your O.T. human, you may hold it here instead.
If an O.T. EC that has been converted to a Hero is discarded by an opponent's ability, you can instead the SA to hold it in City of Refuge. Since you insteaded the discard, the card never hit the discard pile to reset and is still a Hero.
If an O.T. EC that has been converted to a Hero is discarded by the numbers, that's not an ability harming it, so it would be discarded and reset to face value.

Thank you!

What if the EC's ability is causing the decrease in the converted Hero numbers, ala The Murdering Pharaoh, which causes the hero to be discarded?
Godspeed,
Mike

The decrease is harm, so insteading the decrease would mean it never happened to that Hero.

Thanks for the clarification.
