How does it work? Example:
My opponents RA's with Benjamin, I block with Lot's Wife banded to Philistine Garrison. He plays Obedience of Noah. Does Garrison go back if my opponent chooses? Or is Garrison protected from CTB due to immunity?

CtB has a "return" ability followed by a "add to battle" ability, where the "add to battle" must be a chosen EC. Garrison cannot be returned. I am not completely sure, but I think the return of all blocking EC's must happen in order to use the "add to battle" ability, so I think in this case you would have Benjamin vs. Garrison.
I would probably wait for more Elder input before thinking you have anything official though, as I for one am not certain how this situation works. I know for a fact that Garrison remains, but I don't know if Lot's Wife stays or if you are able to choose someone else instead.

I brought this up a couple weeks ago. Several quotes from the reg, which is found in the thread I have provided a link to, reveal that choose the blocker makes all evil characters return and if you choose Lot's Wife to enter battle again her special ability has already activated and cannot activate again. Therefore, in a sense you can "waste" her banding ability with CtB. Garrison's immunity does not matter.

Why wouldn't Garrison's immunity matter? I know for a fact that you can't play OoN to make him withdraw if he was by himself because of his immunity. Else, I've been playing things wrong for years. Which is unlikely, because I'm rarely wrong. ;)

You just confused me. Why is she able to enter battle again?
-
I think that Lot's Wife would able to be swapped with someone and then Garry would stay

Garrison would stay in battle. From the REG:
Immunity protects a character from being harmed, affected, or removed from battle

As for whether Garrison staying would prevent you from adding another character with the CTB ability, I am unsure like the "other Prof". If I had to guess, I would say that CTB is not a cost/effect relationship, and therefore, even though Garrison stays, you could still add another EC to the battle against you if you wanted (which would of course not normally be in your best interest).

It would seem to me if you return Lot's Wife to territory then you would have to replace her with a legal target which would be herself or another EC.

I agree with this. The same way you cannot target Garrison to remove him from battle, you also cannot target him as the chosen blocker so you must choose another character to add to the battle.

Yeah, that sounds good.

...replace her with a legal target which would be herself...
if you choose Lot's Wife to enter battle again her special ability has already activated and cannot activate again.
I'll repeat my question: Why is Lot's Wife able to enter battle a second time?

It's in the REG, under "Choose the Blocker" - "How to Play"
Characters leaving battle may not return to the battle that turn with the exception that the choosing player may select one character just removed and put it back in battle..
