Ever notice that Captain's SA states: "interrupt and prevent ALL SPECIAL ABILITIES except banding." Unlike EVERY OTHER BTN character, he doesn't specify to negating special abilities on just enhancements and characters. I was just wondering if he doesn't negate EVERYTHING or if he does.

Yeah, I used to think he negated artifacts, lost souls, fortresses, etc. However, that was before I met the REG.

I wonder how many less posts we would have on these boards if people would check the REG every now and then before posting easy questions.
If you think you have some broken combo (like a captain that negates everything in the entire room, even my starbucks coffecup) then you are probably missing something and checking the REG might be a good place to start before you post something and then someone posts the REG entry to burst your bubble.
Burst your own bubble by lookign at the REG first, it is less painful and less publicly embarrasing.

I don't think we should thwart the asking of questions. That is one of the main intents of this website. The REG is a hefty collection of information that even the most skilled researcher would have difficulty navigating. Sometimes players may not even consider the possibility of a "Play As."
I agree that a wise choice may be to check the REG before posting, but I think that asking a question even if you haven't checked the REG is fine. People like TimMierz and RedemptionAggie have memorized the REG and can cite passages within seconds of a posting. I am tempted to ask more ruling questions just to witness the awesomeness of their REGabilities.

Sadly not all of us have access to the REG and it doesnt really embaress me to ask questions to answers i dont know. Maybe you could think about that before you begin to belittle someone

You know, about half the time I just make up something that sounds good. No one fact-checks us, so I get away with it a lot.

I just did the fact-checking and found out that you make up something only 12.73% of the time, not "half the time." I'll never trust you again. :P
